HR Assistant – Indianapolis, IN

Southwark Metal Manufacturing in Indianapolis has an immediate opening for a well-qualified HR Assistant. This is a true generalist role with responsibility in the areas of employee relations, recruiting, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, and safety.

We require 1 – 3 years of experience with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to retain information
  • Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Administrator as needed
  • Assist the management team as needed
  • Data entry in a quick, accurate and efficient manner
  • Assist in various tasks based on daily needs
