Industrial Mechanic, 2nd Shift – Fremont, NE

Southwark Metal’s Fremont Division is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team on the 2nd shift!

The ideal Industrial Mechanic possesses manual dexterity, an eye for detail and problem solving, knowledge of mathematics and mechanics, respect for safety precautions, and be comfortable working on the 2nd shift. If offered a position, you must be able to train on the 1st shift; then, you’ll transition to the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance
  • Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals
  • Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
  • Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed
  • Familiar with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Electrical troubleshooting is a plus
