Press Brake Operator – Phoenix, AZ

Southwark Metal Manufacturing – Phoenix is looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our growing team!

Essential Functions:

• Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencing.
• Bend components to spec
• Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using ruler, jigs, and clamps in combination.
• Examine workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Comply with fabrication and safety standards and procedures.
• Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
• Complete assigned work within a given timeframe and according to specifications.

Knowledge / Skills / Expertise:

• +2 years of experience with metal forming and press brake operations preferred.
• Must be able to operate manual or CNC Press Brake equipment
• Must be able to read a tape measure, level, and square.
• Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently. – Good verbal communication skills.
• Physical Demands:
• This position requires continual use of your hands, considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body.
• The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and hearing protection is utilized daily.
