Shipping Loader – Phoenix, AZ

Southwark Metal Manufacturing, AZ Division, a growing local metal fabrication plant, is hiring full-time Shipping Loaders/Pullers for 1st shift for our warehouse position in Phoenix, AZ.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime as needed)

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Forklift experience
• Good basic reading and math skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to build neat and sturdy skids and racks without damage to products
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places
• Dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
