Southwark Metal Launches Southwark University

Southwark Metal Manufacturing Co, a leading manufacturer of sheet metal duct and fittings, is pleased to announce the launch of a new online training website Southwark University. The new website, www.southwarkuniversity.com, features educational materials to train HVAC professionals across the country created by Southwark’s Technical Training Manager, Eric Kravitz.

Kravitz was hired by Southwark in 2025 to restart its one-of-a-kind training program that had been in place since 2012. Kravitz has over 40 years of experience in the HVAC industry and is the instructor of three in-person seminars on air flow dynamics and duct sizing for contractors in addition to being the course creator of the dozen courses leading off the online university’s library at launch. “This is only the beginning – we hope to add to our library every month with more training for all learners, whether they are new to the HVAC industry or have been a seasoned professional,” states Kravitz. The courses are geared toward practical knowledge of sheet metal fittings working in residential applications, and are free to any user who creates an account with the site.
